The New Life - April 26, 2012 - Dubai, UAE

I had to work the night before my birthday so I basically welcomed my day in the office. It was not that gigantic of a celebration as I don't like big gatherings. Besides, I didn't have much of the financial aspect to throw a large party for the small number of people I know.

But then, may GANAP nung umuwi na ako sa flat kasi yung pamilya ko dito sa Dubai, naghanda ng surprise. And in fairness, I was surprised at na touched pa ako sa effort. Imagine, they went out in the middle of the night just to buy a cake, some party favours and decorated the flat pah! Effort kung effort ang mga otao! :)

Thats the family I have dito sa Dubai. Do you see how the three of us connect? Parang tanga lang noh? ANG SAYA! :p

Here I am! With my cake, party hats and some balloons!

It was our second time to eat here pero this time, may karaoke nights na sila! I was excited for the Karaoke Night pero we didn't have the chance to get hold of the microphone at all. Pero ok lang yun, hindi din kasi kami nagpractice for our numbers (kung nakapag-rason lang noh?! CHOS!).

The place was nice, cozy and very private.

Yung peg ng place, parang fish port siya or pier for fishing vessels kaya may salbabida. FYI: walang pool dito o dagat!
AT ITO PAH! Ang cute ng place mat nila noh? Nakaka-bagets talaga ang cartoons! Kaso di ko sila knowing pero keber! HAHA

Yung pagkain naman nila mostly is seafood. Although there is no specific na cuisine, crustaceans yung specialty nila dito. I just took some meds after ng ganap namin dito.

This is the Grilled Chicken Fillet. It comes with with spiced french fries at naka-soak sa barbeque sauce. NOM-NOM-NOM!

Ito naman yung Seafood Platter nila. It has Calamares, Pandan Shrimps, Fish fillet, and Seafood Rolls. May dips din itong Aoli at Sweet and Chili. This order is good for 3 persons.

This is the soup that we ordered. It's sour and spicy at the same time kasi.
After dinning, we had a complimentary desert - Pan Cake! It's like a roll of ice cream in pan cake topped with almonds and choco-caramel syrup. HAHAHA - you just have to eat it ASAP! :P

This is my first birthday outside of the country at malayo talaga sa dating kingdom na kinalakhan ko. Of course I got homesick pero I am also thankful kasi may family din ako dito. To God na laging nandyan sa aking tabi all the time at to my family and friends who have been there for their support, SUPER THANK YOU! Napasaya ninyung lahat ang birthday ko and I am looking forward for more birthdays with all of you!
